Astrology: The Eleventh House of the Birth Chart

Christine Episode 23

Send us a text

Ever wondered why some people thrive in group settings while others struggle to find their place in society? The answer might lie in your 11th house placement—the astrological zone governing technology, community connections, and your vision for the future.

The 11th house stands as a fascinating intersection of technology and human connection. Unlike other areas of your birth chart that might focus on your past or present circumstances, this forward-thinking house shapes how you approach collective endeavors and future planning. As the final of four Succedent houses (along with the 2nd, 5th, and 8th), it's where your big ideas take form before manifesting in the angular houses of action.

Your planetary placements here dramatically influence your social blueprint. Those with Sun in the 11th often prefer casual connections over intimate relationships, while Moon placements create individuals who deeply care for humanity but struggle to express personal emotions. Mercury here bestows collaborative genius, Venus keeps relationships emotionally cool, and Mars creates difficulty settling on one path or person. Perhaps most significantly, Pluto in the 11th house highlights the importance of finding your "soul circle"—those kindred spirits who truly understand your unique perspective and vision.

Ready to understand how your 11th house shapes your relationships with groups, technology, and your future self? Listen now to discover why some of us feel perpetually out of sync with society while others naturally empower those around them. Then follow us on social media or support the podcast through our website for more astrological insights that help you navigate life's complexities with greater awareness and purpose.

Speaker 1:

Welcome to the Witching Hour Chronicles. I'm your host, christine. Okay, I wanted to start off by saying a couple things. I'm so sorry for the background noise. I've got the little 10-pound dog and the 75-pound dog. I've got the little 10 pound dog and the 75 pound dog are extremely hyper right now and chasing each other around the basement and making a shit ton of noise. So I'm really sorry about that and, fortunately, nothing I can do about it. They don't. When they start getting like this, they just don't listen unless I lock them up, and I hate locking them up. So there's that. Also, I wanted to say I'm so sorry I haven't had an episode out. I didn't get one out last week and I know I missed one a couple weeks ago and I feel like I've just been kind of dropping the ball on struggle lately.

Speaker 1:

My mom had a stroke at the beginning of last week, so I was every day after work I was at the hospital with her till late. It started with last Monday. I was in the emergency room with her till 3.30 in the morning. Then she got sent home. They didn't know what was going on with her. They said they couldn't find anything. She went back Wednesday, same thing. And then by Friday she went she had scheduled a doctor's appointment and went in and they said nope, you are not acting like you. I've known you 20 years and looked at her scans from the first night of the emergency room and found out that she had a stroke, that they just missed those two times in the emergency room. So she spent three days in the hospital. After that she got to go home on Mother's Day, which is great.

Speaker 1:

Most of her symptoms she was having like not being able to walk, she was real dizzy, she was real confused All of those have seemed to have gone away. She's still a little weak, but she's getting around just fine. The only thing that is very noticeable is her speech. She's having a hard time forming sentences and then all of a sudden she just can't. It's like her mouth can't form the word to get it out, and it's been really frustrating for her. Of course. But they said with some speech therapy, some occupational therapy, some physical therapy, she should make a full recovery, which is awesome.

Speaker 1:

I'm so glad Not saying that I'm not still stressed out about it all, because I am. But thank you all for understanding about not putting an episode out. But you know, life happens and it's definitely been happening a little extra for me and my family. So thank you all for understanding. Okay, now that that's all out of the way, I am going to get into the 10th house of the birth chart. Yay, we're at number 11, which means there's only one more after this, which I'm actually going to record as soon as I'm done recording this one. That way, they're up, ready to go and I just have to put it all up on the site and select the time I want it published and it'll do it for me. That way, this episode and the next one are ready to go and you won't be missing an episode. So, yeah, anyways.

Speaker 1:

Fifth house of the birth chart this is a house where you are definitely more concerned with your future than your past. This zone rules technology, science, just technology and learning and all that fun stuff. It's a very data-driven house, very calculating, like mathematical-wise type stuff. The 11th house is the final of four Suscendant houses. So the Suscendant houses are also the second, fifth and eighth Suscendant houses, pretty much fixed signs on the Zodiac wheel. This is where you turn your big ideas in. Well, this is where you form the big ideas that are put into play in your angular houses. Definitely a lot of teamwork and a lot of technology in this house. It's also a house where human connection is a very big deal, house of community and collaboration.

Speaker 1:

The article I read says diversity is welcome. So don't bother printing out jerseys unless you're open to everyone customizing them to their taste. That's a quote from this article. I will post the link for that in the show notes. And there goes the dogs Okay, so everybody has planets in their houses. Granted, you can have a house without planets in it, but there are definitely planets in your birth chart. So I'm going to go through, like I have with every other episode, and give you the characteristics of each planet in that particular house. We will start with the sun. The sun people with the sun in their house definitely prefer casual connections, not necessarily intense, intimate interactions. Because of this, you tend to disengage pretty quickly. It's a lot harder for you to keep that connection.

Speaker 1:

The moon you are definitely described as calm and cool, but you do care very deeply for humanity. But you do tend to get stuck rationalizing your emotions. You tend to Say how you think instead of how you feel. You express. You have a hard time expressing how you feel.

Speaker 1:

Mercury, you are definitely someone who loves collaborations. You're the person to go to when it's time for party planning and getting things like the ball rolling, and you also tend to keep yourself pretty isolated. I don't know how that makes sense if you're the one to get the ball rolling, but okay, anyways. Venus, you're very emotionally cool, let's see, you're very non-negotiable. So when it comes to like your significant other, they need to be a strong individual because you're very just. I'm keeping things cool. I don't have time for your head games. Mars, you definitely have a hard time settling down because you are I don't know how to say this you tend to be attracted to different types of people, so it's easy to detach yourself emotionally because it's well. I don't know that I want this because this person or this situation, not necessarily a relationship, but it's just hard to be vulnerable and stick to one scenario.

Speaker 1:

Jupiter, you tend to be naturally philosophical. You think so far outside the box that where's the box in the first place? People definitely appreciate that of you, but sometimes your opinions and concepts are just way too far for people to really comprehend, to really comprehend. Saturn, you are definitely a team player. You're a joiner. You definitely like being part of the group. You like to be involved in everything. There's not much you wouldn't do.

Speaker 1:

Uranus you try to fit in and you try to not be different, but that's just it. You are different from the rest, but that's what's so charming about you and the best part of you. You don't feel the need to conform but, like I said, that's your charm. That's what people love is. You are different and you're okay being different. Neptune you're an idealist. You definitely feel out of sync with most of society. Feel out of sync with most of society. It's really hard for you to find a place that you fit perfectly. Pluto Pluto your individuality is a gift. Your key to happiness is definitely finding your soul circle. I don't know if I have talked about this in another episode. I know I've talked about this with people, but we all have a soul circle. So you, finding your soul circle is your key to happiness and as you gain more confidence in your life, you will have a gift of empowering people. So that is your gift. Okay, that is all the planets.

Speaker 1:

Um, like I said, I'm going to record the second episode as soon as I'm done recording this First. I'm going to get this all set up on the site to be published at midnight, and then I'm going to record the next episode. I hope you have all enjoyed this. I totally love doing this show. I hope you all love it. I guess sitting here and talking to you guys is a good way for me to forget about all the things that stress me out in life. So thank you all for being there. Okay, so follow me on social media Facebook, instagram threads.

Speaker 1:

After I'm done with all these birth chart episodes, I'll probably start posting more on TikTok. I know I took a break from TikTok because it's hard finding stuff to post. I know I took a break from TikTok because it's hard finding stuff to post. And hey guys, luna, daphne, sorry everybody, they're getting a little too rough over there. Yeah, like I said, I'll start posting again on TikTok eventually. I just need to find the time to do it all.

Speaker 1:

Also, seriously, I'm thinking about doing a video podcast and putting this up on YouTube. Let me know what you'd all think if I did. That Makes me nervous because, if you don't know, I record in my basement and it's an unfinished basement. So when I have my camera on, when I'm recording, it looks like I'm in a hostage video because it's all cement walls and shit. So, yeah, that that might be entertaining for you all. Anyways, if you get on my website, which the link is in the show notes, click on the support tab and subscribe for as little as $3 a month. That would be amazing. It would definitely help keep this podcast going. Give me a 5 star rating on Spotify, give me a review on Apple. It would all mean the world to me, and I think that's all I got bye. Thank you.
