Speaker 1:

Welcome to the Witching Hour Chronicles. I'm your host, christine. So it's been a couple weeks. I didn't do a recording last week. I hope everyone's been good. Last week I hope everyone's been good I didn't do a recording.

Speaker 1:

It was my youngest daughter's 11th birthday, so that week was just kind of crazy busy, a lot of stuff going on. So I decided to just take a week off and yeah, that's that. So today I'm going to do the 10th house in the birth chart, which means after this episode, there's only two more houses in the birth chart left. I got some really, in my opinion, cool topics coming up for future episodes After we get done with the 12 houses. I am going to have Casey on again and we're going to do some more superstitions because there are so many and I think it's fascinating. There's so many that I've never even heard of and it's, yeah, awesome. So we're going to definitely make that an occasional thing where she jumps on and we do more superstitions.

Speaker 1:

But yeah, I'm gonna just jump right on into the 10th house of the birth chart. So the 10th house is your structure, kind of like the framework of your house, the foundation of your house. It's like your public image kind of thing, the 10th house is the last of four angular houses. The other angular houses are the 1st, 4th and 7th. So if you kind of think about it like a compass north, south, east, west this sign, on the cusp of this sign, or at the edge of the 10th house, located near the 12 o'clock point on the zodiac wheel, has a special name it's called Midhaven. Whatever zodiac sign is at this position in your birth chart, it is what helps you discover, I guess, your true north. So, like I've done with all the others, I'm going to get into each planet of this house.

Speaker 1:

It could be when you do your birth chart you might not have a planet in the house, but a lot of the time there's a planet and sometimes there could be more than one planet. I know I've gotten into this with all the other episodes, but if you haven't listened to those episodes, that's just a brief little thing there. One way you can do your birth chart, you can just Google birth chart calculator and you have to put in the location you were born, the date you were born, time you were born. You have to know the time or else it won't. I mean, there's ways to figure it out without having the time, but I find that it's not as accurate. So you really need to know what time you're born.

Speaker 1:

I know a lot of my listeners that I've talked to have their birth chart and they're sitting down with their birth chart, looking at the house I'm talking about and figuring out what planet is in that house, and they're listening as I'm going through this and it's so confusing, and so that's why I decided to go through this. I wanted to learn more about it and I figured the best way to do this is I would do it and I'm explaining everything in the simplest ways possible. Now I am going to share the link for the article I got all this from, because I'm just giving you, like I said, the easiest explanation possible, but if you click on this, the link I share, you can get more details about each planet and about what this house is and all that Um. With all that being said, I'm going to get into the planets now. We're going to start with the sun. With the sun, often everything in. You know that there's definitely a reward for all your sacrifice. At the end, you will definitely pass up on the reward today by striving a little harder for a better reward tomorrow?

Speaker 1:

The moon you try not to get involved with people, get to know people, unless you know that there's promise for a future with these people, whether it's business, friendships, whatever you tend to, especially when it comes to personal relationships. You almost have a checklist Financial stability, integrity, family values. You're definitely more focused on the long-term, of course. My oh, there we go, let's see. Mercury it's all business. When it comes to your communication, you're very goal-oriented. You are very focused, very direct. Sometimes people think you maybe need to calm down a little because you come across very harsh and kind of dismissive sometimes. Venus Any type of relationship is definitely an investment for you. You are definitely looking for someone that you can build something stable with and you are very picky about the people you bring into your life, whether it's relationships or business or whatever. You definitely have a checklist. You go through, just like I said, with the moon as well.

Speaker 1:

Mars you are very creative, very productive. People find you very inspiring. You definitely don't know how to just sit back and relax. You're just go, go, go. Jupiter you're very achievement oriented, very competitive. Sometimes you need to just throw in the towel, even though you rarely do. Saturn you definitely need time to spend with the people closest to you in life in order to feel balanced in your daily routine. You tend to work well with others, especially, I know a lot of people don't work well with relatives, but not necessarily a bad idea for you, because you enjoy spending time with family, but you also really enjoy working, so you find that to be a good balance for you.

Speaker 1:

Uranus you are a rebel. You could also be very discontent with the world around you. You definitely do life at your own terms. All right. Neptune you Tend to look at others for validation and that's definitely a downfall for you. You definitely need to focus more on surrounding yourself with people who support you and to help you stay on the right path and to stay driven, because you tend to drift off in other directions when you don't have somebody there rooting for you and telling you this is where you need to go.

Speaker 1:

And Pluto the last of the planets. You definitely are. You're a go-getter. You're in it to win it, but you're also described as being very cutthroat about winning what you want, as being very cutthroat about winning what you want. You are definitely more about how much you can get, how much you can gain, rather than the little individual wins. You want it all. All right, so that's all the houses.

Speaker 1:

I know that was a quick, short little episode, but all these episodes have been kind of short, so I hope you all have learned something, and I promise you two more episodes after this. It's been quite the journey. When I took the advice, when I took this listener request to do these episodes, I didn't quite know what I was getting myself into with so many episodes. It's been fun though. It's been a lot of fun, but I can't wait to get into more.

Speaker 1:

I want to do some conspiracies. I want to do more spooky, more creepy things, because I'm totally into all that Conspiracies. I want to do aliens. I want to talk about some cryptids. I want to do aliens. I want to talk about some cryptids. I want to get my 11 year old on here to talk about some cryptids, because she's all about creepy creatures and I think that would be a lot of fun and I think it would help her to learn to communicate a little better. Yeah, so I definitely have a lot of awesome ideas.

Speaker 1:

If you have any ideas for me, if there's something you want me to cover, email me at witchy334 at gmailcom. You can message me on social media. I'm on Facebook, instagram Threads, tiktok. I'm on X. I'm trying to think if there's any other platforms I'm on. I think that's it. I don't really post on TikTok much because I just don't really have time for so much social media. Let's see. Don't forget to follow me on Spotify. Give me a five star rating, because that would be amazing you could listen. On Apple, give me a review.

Speaker 1:

I'm seriously thinking of getting on YouTube and starting to do video, but I don't know, it kind of scares me a little bit.

Speaker 1:

But I have had people definitely throw that suggestion out there that they would definitely be interested in watching on YouTube. So if that is something you would be interested in, please let me know and I'll probably consider it a little more. Don't forget, if you get on my website which there is a link in the show notes for it you can click on the support tab and you can do a monthly donation of as little as $3 a month and that definitely helps keep this podcast going. It helps keep me motivated. It helps definitely keep the podcast going because I do pay for my platform that I publish this on. Once I start getting more monthly subscribers, I will do subscriber-only episodes every once in a while, so please, please, considering a monthly contribution. I would greatly appreciate it. Other than that, I think that is all I have. I will be talking to you next week with the 10th house of the Brewster, so that's it. Bye, thanks for watching.
