Welcome to the Witching Hour Chronicles. I'm your host, christine. Welcome back to my birth chart series. Took a little break last week and did an episode on dreams. Had a couple guests on, so that was fun. I hope you all enjoyed that. But now we're back to it. We're on house four out of 12. So we still got a little ways to go. I might throw another break in there, so it's not the same kind of thing every week. I want to switch it up and make it fun. But let's get down to this. I like to keep these episodes short and sweet but full of information, and I hope you're all learning something from it.
Speaker 1:Okay, so the fourth house is at the very bottom of the zodiac wheel and this is kind of the foundation of your life. Kind of this is where your roots are, your family origins. It is one of three water houses, along with the eighth and twelfth house, so it's all about feelings. There's also kind of a little bit of a correspondence and a connection between the fourth house and the zodiac sign, cancer, which is the fourth of the zodiac signs. Both of these are associated with caretakers. This is also a place where you develop your like emotional intelligence, where you learn how to nourish yourself. This is a place for privacy, where, like your personal space and it's only a space where you keep your closest circle of friends and family and your alone time is definitely needed here. The fourth house is also the second of four angular houses, along with the first, seventh and tenth houses, just kind of like a compass north, south, east, west. These houses start at each of the four quadrants of the zodiac wheel. Let's see's next, all of these angular houses. They are cusp houses, so it's beginning on the edge of a cusp of one of the zodiacs, let's see. Let's get into the different planets in each of these houses because depending on when you were born kind of determines on what planet is in that house. If you've listened to my other episodes, you already know that, but if you haven't and are just starting on this episode, I feel like I needed to explain that. So we'll start with the sun.
Speaker 1:If you are born with the sun in your fourth house, you tend to be more sensitive and nurturing, very emotional. You definitely absorb the energy from your environment. So having a safe home is a must. You need to feel safe in your environment. You are very good at self-soothing. It helps it so you can step away and get centered with your emotions rather than totally blowing up at people. All right, the moon the moon in your fourth house. You're also very sensitive. You're intuitive, family-oriented. You're a natural caretaker. You're definitely one to take care of your loved ones and you probably don't even realize you're doing it. You just step into that role automatically. But you also can have an easier time and this is not necessarily a good thing taking on everyone else's problems as your own. So you've got to kind of find balance there.
Speaker 1:Mercury you definitely have a nurturing nature. When you form a bond with someone, it's for life. It's because you're so sensitive. You tend to take things very personally. You're definitely more comfortable in a space where you can speak your mind and say how you're feeling.
Speaker 1:Venus Definitely, when you're looking for like a life partner, it's for life. A lot of people with Venus in their fourth house tend to wed early. You are definitely willing to risk heartbreak to find this, but that's pretty much the gist of what I found in Venus. Mars Definitely more focused on family. You are very protective of your loved ones. This article that I found all this information on says no one crosses your clan without feeling some serious retribution. So you are definitely the protector of your house and you're definitely you need foundational security.
Speaker 1:Okay, jupiter, you are the master of wisdom of the heart and you definitely are very. You definitely got a lot of empathy in your heart. You definitely are. It's easy for you to give your advice to people in your inner circle, but definitely not necessarily the caretaking type that tends to drain you. Saturn you definitely have a lot of nesting instincts. You like every space to feel like a home nesting instincts. You like every space to feel like a home. Your shelter is crucial and without it you feel very vulnerable, exposed and you're also a very private person.
Speaker 1:All right, uranus, your early life tends to get started rocky and has a lot of periods of chaos. Even in a traditional upbringing, you tend to feel very ungrounded until you find or even create your own solid foundation. You tend to make people feel like at home when they're around you. You're naturally tuned into the emotional side of anywhere you're at. You definitely feel very uncomfortable when things or people are off balance around you. Let's see.
Speaker 1:Pluto is where we are next. Sorry, looking at my notes here, pluto and this is the last one in this one. You are kind of a little bit introverted not necessarily full-on introverted. You definitely require periods of alone time to clear your head and you like to engage in deep reflection. Your sense of security can be delicate, and especially when you're in a time of heightened emotional sensitivity. So that is the fourth house on your birth chart next week. I don't know if I'm gonna do the fifth house next week or if I'm taking another break, because next week I am recording with friends again and we got a good episode planned for that. We actually got a few really good ones planned coming up that are not in part of this series that I'm doing.
