Welcome to the Witching Hour Chronicles. I'm Christine. This is part three of a little series I've been doing talking about moon signs, sun signs, rising signs. Rising is what I'm talking about in part three. We're going to do a little recap here and talk very, very briefly on part one and part two.
Speaker 1:So part one was sun, and your sun sign is your dominant personality, and how you figure that out is you know your birth date. What zodiac was the sun in when you were born? Your moon sign is your deepest emotions and you find that out by knowing the date you were born and the place you are Now. Your rising sign is also known as the ascendant sign and it's described as the mask you present to other people. It's your social personality when you first meet people. In order to find your rising sign, you need to know the date, the time and the place. So, going back to episode one, the sun changes zodiac about every 30 days. Episode two I let you know that the moon changes zodiac every couple days, every like two days or so. Now your rising sign is a lot different because you need to know the exact time you were born, because your rising sign changes every like two hours. So even if you're off by just a few minutes, it can give you the wrong sign that you are. Also, with the rising sign, it's believed that if you were closer to the beginning, like when it first moved into that sign, you're impacted more by the effects of those personality traits, those personality traits. But if you were born, let's say, at night or closer to the end of it, before it moves into the next, it says it's believed that the effects of those personality traits won't be as dominant. With that being said, I am going to do like I did in part one and part two and I'm going to go through all 12 signs and tell you the different traits for each one. So we're going to start with Aries.
Speaker 1:Aries are independent, straightforward, can be kind of irritable, but very self-re. They are very goal-oriented. So I mean they really strive to achieve their goals and succeed and it tends to stress them out because of their high expectations, also kind of quick to get like irritated, a little bit of a temper. Taurus Taurus are said to be loyal, stable, stubborn, but yet practical. They definitely have to have a solid foundation so it makes them not too willing to change in a lot of situations. It takes a lot for them to change. Very set in their ways Rather than jumping into something new, they want to look at it from all angles pretty much.
Speaker 1:Gemini Rising are curious. They seek to gain knowledge and are known to be very talkative and clever with people they interact with. They tend to be outgoing. They kind of can sometimes like put people off because of their I don't know how to say this like abrupt personality. So going from kind of one extreme to the next with their personality, wise Cancer.
Speaker 1:Cancer rising are known to be sensitive, guarded, strong. They might not necessarily appear to be very social and it kind of takes them time to kind of work into social situations. And it can take them because they are sensitive. It could take them time to open up to people. They crave stability. But yeah, that's Cancer Leo. They are described as magnetic, bold, courageous and impulsive. They kind of demand attention of others around them and almost seem to go out of their way to kind of take over the room. They are very hasty about making decisions and tend to be quite bossy, but overall they tend to be positive, enthusiastic about trying new things. So that's Leo.
Speaker 1:Next we got Virgo. They tend to be reserved, can be critical of things. They tend to worry a lot. They also are known to be very loyal. They don't just jump into situation, they have to kind of analyze everything around them and slowly adjust. When it comes to worrisome, and this is especially when it's an unfamiliar situation, they tend to be very detail-oriented, but once they get to know people they will do anything they can to help them.
Speaker 1:Libra Rising tend to be charming, accommodating, influential and restless. They are naturally curious and want to explore life. They try to remain unbiased in most situations. They tend to be very outgoing but can unintentionally manipulate those around them with their persuasive kind of nature. Scorpio rising and this one is me, I'm a Scorpio rising they are very determined and this is what I got out of an article I was reading Determined, mysterious, seductive, but can be paranoid, loyal to those closest to them, but they tend to keep their emotions hidden just under the surface. Also this is funny because I don't know that this is me and those who know me are going to have to tell me if this is me they are both peculiar and intimidating, and yet very compelling. Scorpios can quickly see through insincerity and tend to put up emotional walls. I do do that I know I do that.
Speaker 1:Capricorn Capricorn Rising. They are serious, ambitious, focused and successful, responsible, structured, rarely falter from their responsibilities, hardworking and can never seem to meet their own expectations. They strive for success but also need to find balance for fun and lightheartedness. Aquarius Unique, curious, friendly, very intellectual and strive to expand their knowledge. They are accepting of all lifestyles and tend to think of themselves as exceptional people who don't always fit in. They tend to get along well with others.
Speaker 1:And now Pisces. Pisces are described as gentle, kind, dreamy, indecisive. They tend to appear shy, but they actually enjoy conversing with others. They tend to frequently be in a dreamlike state. They tend to frequently be in a dreamlike state. They also don't want to be held back and are restless by nature and use their emotions to guide them through life. Let's see, my notes got a little messed up in there. I hope I got all those 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10. I did. I got them all.
Speaker 1:I am going from sun, moon rising. I am a capricorn, taurus, scorpio, so pretty much I'm how would we describe this here? As my sun sign, I'm ambitious and driven and want to make my mark on the world. As my moon sign, let's see, stubborn I don't remember all of what it said. Stubborn, very true to my word, romantic by nature, and then, with my rising sign, scorpio, a mysterious seductive, determined but paranoid, and hides my emotions.
