Welcome to the Witching Hour Chronicles. I am your host, christine. So last week I started a three-part astrology series. So this is episode two, part two of the series. We talked last week about sun signs and I went through all the zodiacs and gave traits of those signs and basically your sun sign is your dominant personality traits. So this week I'm talking about moon signs and what that is and all the different traits for each sign. I'll go through all 12 of them.
Speaker 1:Your moon sign is all about emotion. It's how you process your feelings and impulses and your emotional needs. So basically, let's go back to sun sign real quick. The sun changes signs every 30 days or so. The moon changes signs about every two days. So in order to unlike the sun sign where it's, you just need your birthday to know what you are, the sun sign where it's, you just need your birthday to know what you are. A moon sign, you need to know the place you were born, the time you were born and, obviously, your birthday. The best way to find it and this is how I figured it out was I googled moon sign calculator. So last week I let everyone know I am a Capricorn, my sun sign is Capricorn, my moon sign is Taurus, so let's start with Aries.
Speaker 1:If you were born under the Aries moon, it's like you're an instant gratification kind of person. Nothing happens fast enough for you and you're very prone to whims and love living life in the moment. Very independent, free spirit, you're very fiery and passionate and you face your problems head on without bothering to. Sometimes you just don't bother, considering other people's feelings and it's so. That's Aries, taurus, which would be me moon sign Familiar, familiar I can't talk Familiar, so you love being rooted in routine, kind of creature of comforts. It's really important for you to build a safe home and feel content and at peace. I can definitely agree with that. For me, stubborn, which, yes, I am. But being stubborn also means you're true to your word, because it's kind of like, well, I was going to say I'm right and I know I'm right, so I'm going to stick to that. Like I, you're true to your word. When you make a commitment to someone or something, you do your best to come through. It's also said Taurus moon signs are very romantic by nature. Once you feel a certain way about someone or something, you don't usually waver in that and I mean it takes a lot for you to say I'm done with this situation. Uh, okay, so on to Gemini, gem, gemini, moon.
Speaker 1:They say they are quite the charmers, with pleasant personalities, quick wit that easily wins people over. They also tend to be a bit moody at times, especially around people they're comfortable with, curious minded, they love adventure and exploring. They also tend to be a jack of all trades kind of people. They tend to stress over the little things and can also become restless and anxious when not in motion. So they're not the kind of people that just want to sit still.
Speaker 1:Cancer, cancer moon. They tend to feel most at home in their emotional life. It's because the moon is Okay. So last week I told you what planet rules each sign, and the moon is actually what rules cancer. So cancers tend to be all about their emotions. They are a very sensitive empath who are in touch with feelings and also the feelings of others. So they tend to walk in a room and they can just read the room just by the feel of the energy in the room. They also tend to bring a sense of peace when they're around and they bring this sense of peace to the people that they are around. They kind of calm the room. They kind of calm the room, very cautious of change, and don't really like in situations where things are like upheaval. They hate superficial things. They prefer things, things with substance. They can have a bit of an insecure streak. So that is cancer. So we are gonna go on to Leo next.
Speaker 1:Leo Moon love being in the spotlight, but only on their own terms and in their own comfort zone, enjoy entertaining friends and family and will go out of their way to be funny and, like crack jokes, be the funny one of the group. They love to keep things organized because they want to be in control of the situation. They also are known to be the organizer, the party planner of the family. They enjoy their schedules and coordinating. God, I couldn't stand that. They are creative and love to show that side off. Okay.
Speaker 1:So, virgo, if you are a Virgo moon, it's the little things in life that appeal. You feel your best when you're able to maintain a simple daily routine. You want to feel needed and useful. You're one of the first to step up and volunteer when someone needs help. People might see you as lazy, but that's just not true. Sometimes you lack self-confidence, but that's just how you're seen to others. But the truth is, you really just enjoy life as it is. You're happy with what you have and you don't feel the need to show it off for other people. Unexpected change or lack of planning make you feel unbalanced and may even cause you to have little freak outs, but still, with that, you're still the problem solver by nature and you always come through for people you love.
Speaker 1:Libra moon. So, libra moon, you need strong relationships and partnerships in your life. The need is so deep in you that you're prone to moving in with people or getting married at a young age. Okay, this is just what I'm getting out of a couple different articles. So and I did stress this last week that, just because I'm reading, because of the research I went through, just because it says oh, you're this, so this is what you are. That's not always the case. There's always the exception to the rule. Anyways, libra's drive for peace, harmony and composure. You're sympathetic, outgoing, charming and okay, this article, this one article I read. It says you're a killer flirt. You're persistent and tend to notice the flaws in your life and in others the flaws in your life and in others more easily. You're not being judgmental, you just happen to be able to notice these things. Okay, scorpio Scorpio moon you tend to seek out emotional intensity more than you seek material things.
Speaker 1:Scorpio moon, you have a consistent need for change. You're always going through some kind of rebirth or turning over a new leaf. You want intense experiences, adventure, emotions, drama, lots of action. You've been described as an adrenaline junkie. You got a big personality that tends to take up the whole room. You're an all or nothing kind of person. You don't do things halfway. You tend to have a heightened fear of betrayal. So you're very big on commitment.
Speaker 1:Sagittarius let's see what Sagittarius says. You love your freedom. You're happy and easygoing, but you need your space. You don't like being confined or cooped up. You're always looking for new activities and adventures. You have a helpful attitude and giving spirit. A natural born teacher, let's see. You tend to have a spur of the moment planning style, but you always have faith things will work out All right.
Speaker 1:Capricorn moon If you are a Capricorn moon, you're the most level-headed as it gets. Staying productive and useful are basic staples of your life. You're cool-headed, steady and reliable. You maintain clear boundaries for yourself and set realistic goals. You're not much into risk-taking. You enjoy safety and security above all. Feeling too many emotions doesn't really sit well with you. If, like, for example, if one of your friends comes to you while they're having a breakdown, you have a hard time containing your awkward laughter. But you're also like a fixer. Put a lot of value into keeping your head in the real world. You need to feel like what you're doing is something worthwhile. You don't like wasting your time.
Speaker 1:Okay, aquarius, if you're an Aquarius moon, you notice everything. You love spending time in nature. People watching is one of your all-time favorites. You can be pretty shy, but you like to like, I said, people watching human behavior because you feel so different from others. You feel like you don't fit in, so you like watching these other people. Hey, I like people watching too.
Speaker 1:Anyways, you might come across as a social butterfly, but really you're kind of. You'd much rather just be by yourself. You like sitting at home, watching movies, reading books, rather than going out and socializing, and the word no doesn't seem to quite fit in with your plans. You tend to feel like you're above experience-based emotions, because really you're more complicated than that. But you also have a tendency to give into your whimsical mood. When the whimsical mood strikes, kindness is a big concern for you and you enjoy helping people with their problems.
Speaker 1:So that is Aquarius Pisces, and this is my late yep, this is the last one. So, pisces, you're definitely the dreamy type. Reality tends to be kind of boring for you. You definitely have a lot of empathy and can easily put yourself in someone else's shoes, and you have a great intuition. You have a uniquely silly sense of humor and are super easy to make laugh. You have a tendency to daydream and you are also easily overwhelmed. You do like to when you need to.
Speaker 1:Recenter just. You love to be by yourself, especially after spending too much time peopling social encounters I feel like that's just been the theme of this week is too many people. Anyways, you're very soft-hearted. You care for others immensely. You have a really great ability to let others in and accept them for who they are. That is like one of your greatest strengths. Because of this, it's very easy for you to have a large circle of friends and people who trust you above all else.
